I presently have two full time secretaries in my office with real estate experience, one full time probate paralegal and two part time secretaries with real estate, probate and civil experience.
Melissa Benoit has worked in the real estate field for the past fifteen years. Melissa is my primary real estate paralegal. Melissa lives in Griswold. She spent the previous twelve years working in the Real Estate Department of Berberick, Murphy & Whitty, P.C. in Norwich, before joining my firm in February, 2000.
Patricia Fluet previously worked for the law firm of Berberick, Murphy & Whitty, P.C. in Norwich for sixteen years in the Real Estate Department. She spent two years as a mortgage originator for Eastern Federal Bank before joining my firm in May, 2005.
Melinda Taranto joined my firm as a full time probate paralegal in 2007. Melinda obtained her paralegal certificate in 2004 from Manchester Community College and had previously worked as a paralegal in Danielson, CT.
Margaret (Peggy) Buttacavoli has been a legal secretary in Windham and New London County for over twenty-five years. Prior to joining my firm in 1995, she had worked in the Real Estate Department of Attorney Donald J. DiFrancesca in Norwich, CT. Earlier this year (2007) Peg semi-retired and is now working part time in my office, handling evictions, and other court matters.
Barbara Burzycki previously worked at DiFrancesca & Steele as a legal secretary for ten years and has over twenty-five years secretarial experience. Barbara joined my firm in 1997. Barbara also works part time in my office.
